Easterling Fine Homes is recognized both as a grounds-up builder and restorer of fine homes in Chapel Hill and the surrounding RTP area. Jeff Easterling, the principal owner and builder in the company, has worked in homebuilding for over 25 years. Early in his career, he worked with Berchtold Holzbau Gmbh., a custom home corporation in Austria, where he learned the homebuilding process from the ground up -- from carpentry to brick masonry, and from cabinet making to house planning -- and earned his spurs as a Craftsman.
He brought from Austria, it's industry's progressive, green home-building ideas and home design to his native country and hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Today, he is recognized as a true visionary whose commitment to excellence and personal control of the critical aspects of homebuilding details set him apart and has earned him the reputation of being a true artisan.
But, don''t take our word for it. Stop by 609 Aberdeen Drive in Chapel Hill to see his work first-hand. You will walk away agreeing that this homebuilder, for both custom homes and restorations, is indeed a superb craftsman and visionary.
Jeff Easterling has been part of the residential building industry for over 27 years. Born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, he began his career in residential construction as a carpenter/superintendent in 1986. In 1999, Jeff acquired his NC General Contractor license and formed Easterling Building Company (EBC). The green building mindset was just starting in the United States at that time, and EBC was pointed in that direction. In 2006, Easterling Building Company became Easterling Fine Homes Inc. and still focuses on the same principles of energy efficiency and sustainability to provide customers with the highest possible level of quality and efficiency combined with outstanding customer service. Easterling is a member of the HBA of Durham, Orange & Chatham Co.
“The NC Builder Institute has proven to be an excellent opportunity for me to increase my knowledge of new building standards and business management as well as offering curriculum and certifications to improve and exhibit my skills a residential General Contractor,” said Easterling.
